DEFENDERS Security Collections Agent in Indianapolis, Indiana
Responsibilities
Mission of Security Collections Agent: This role is responsible for reaching out to customers whose accounts are in past due status in order to collect the money owed from them.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Shift: 12:30-9pm Monday-Friday; every other Saturday from 8a-4:30pm
Make collections calls both outbound and inbound using dialer technology
Multi-task between multiple applications
Identify and resolve customer issues for not making monthly payments
Provide excellent customer service while educating and stressing urgency to continue to make monthly payments
Answer and update any billing inquiries
Work with managers, internally and externally, to resolve any customer or account concerns
Assume ownership of learning new or revised processes and SOPs
Qualifications
Background and Minimum Years Experience:
Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Great Plains is a plus
Bilingual is a plus
Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug/background check.
